  1. Actually I am not sold on this crap. I will wait until Tennessee actually wins games. I still think this a Danny White sell job. Tennessee used to be one of the greatest college football teams in the country, Now, we are lucky if we win 7 games. Tennessee fans deserve better than middle tier college coaching. Tennessee fans should be pissed. For 10 years we have been sold a bill of goods. Better get this right quickly. I am not buying the Danny White stream. Better bring some wins quickly.
  2. We knew this was coming. You knew it wouldn't take long. Congrats Peyton. The Pro Football Hall of Fame did a good job of keeping its newest class of inductees secret until Saturday night’s announcements on the NFL Honors show. Yet, it was known the day Peyton Manning retired that, unless he came out of retirement, he would headline the Class of 2021. Manning’s presentation by Mike Chappell of FOX 59 lasted 13 seconds and no debate followed during the Hall of Fame’s virtual selection meeting almost three weeks ago. Earlier this week, PFT reported Hall of Fame president David Baker informed Manning of his first-ballot election during a recent party in Manning’s honor. But it wasn’t until Saturday, when the Hall of Fame made the announcement, that Manning officially became a Hall of Famer. Manning, 44, will headline the enshrinement ceremony for the Class of 2021 on Aug. 8 in Canton. The Hall of Fame will induct the Class of 2020 on Aug. 7. It was a day the Colts hoped for and dreamed of the day in 1998 when they drafted Manning with the first overall choice. Manning played 18 NFL seasons, went to four Super Bowls and won two Super Bowl rings. He walked off into the sunset after his 2015 Broncos won Super Bowl 50. Manning spent his final four seasons in Denver after 14 with the Colts. He won five MVP awards, a Super Bowl MVP award, two Offensive Player of the Year awards, one Comeback Player of the Year award and a Walter Payton Man of the Year award. Manning held multiple NFL records at the time of his retirement, including career passing yards (71,940), career passing touchdowns (539) and consecutive seasons with at least 25 passing touchdowns (13). He made the NFL’s 100th Anniversary Team in 2019 as one of 10 greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
  3. Vols come back to beat Kentucky on the road WWW.WBIR.COM Tennessee overcame a ten-point deficit to beat rival Kentucky at Rupp Arena.
  4. Probably fishing for a raise
  5. Seems like a nice background. The one thing is he moves around a lot. Doesn't seem like to stay in one place long. Consistency is needed. Seems like he's liked a lot by his peers though. That's a good sign.

  16. The spread offense is SPREAD YOUR legs wide open for shit to be stuck up your ass.
  17. I cannot say I disagree. What elite coach would come here? Folks, Tennessee has become the waste land of coaches. Danny White has sold us another set of goods. Brought his little boy from Central Florida and we all are expected to just enjoy his crap. Until this team wins at least 8 games, I couldn't care less. I am done with this half ass BS from UT administrators.

    And the rich get richer.

So that's the problem! Tennessee needs to put the cash in the dash, not in a cheap ass McDonald's bag. I get the issue now.
  21. One of Josh Heupels first additions to the Tennessee football program as head coach is on the special teams front and offsets a key loss. Less than a week after losing place kicker Brent Cimaglia to the transfer portal, the Vols have brought in a graduate transfer at the position. Chase McGrath announced his decision to transfer to Rocky Top Tuesday night. Over the past four years, McGrath has been with the USC Trojans, but he suffered an injury in 2020 and never kicked a field goal that year. With McGrath out, freshman Parker Lewis emerged. As a result, he wasn’t going to be the starting kicker his final year with the program and entered the transfer portal back in December. He announced his decision to join Tennessee football on Twitter. Before his injury, McGrath had emerged as a deadly accurate kicker with solid power as well. He is 32-of-42 on all field goals and a solid 9-of-15 on field goals 40 yards and beyond with two of those misses coming on four attempts from 50 yards and beyond. On extra points, he is 18-of-19 for his career. However, if you look beyond his freshman year, when many place kickers go through growing pains in college, he’s even more reliable. McGrath was 20-of-25 in 2018 and 2019, and more importantly, he was 14-of-15 on field goals inside 40 yards and perfect on extra points those two years, meaning he was reliable and nearly automatic where a college kicker should be. Simply put, the guy has gotten more accurate over time and clearly has leg power since he has made two field goals from beyond 50 yards, so he could become a huge advantage for Rocky Top. We should also note that he’s clutch. He kicked a 43-yard game-winning field goal in overtime to beat the Texas Longhorns 27-24 in 2017, which was just the third college game of his career.

  23. Looks like he's pulling a Lyle... Former South Carolina and Florida coach Will Muschamp is joining the Georgia staff as an analyst, coach Kirby Smart told reporters Wednesday. Smart and Muschamp were teammates at Georgia and colleagues on coaching staffs at Valdosta State and LSU. Muschamp's role will be that of an off-field coach. Smart said Muschamp will "help coach the coaches" and work on the defensive side of the ball. "It's very valuable to have a guy who has been a head coach at two places in our conference," Smart said. "He knows the ins and outs of this conference. He'll be able to help our staff, our coaches, in a lot of ways. I'm excited to have him join us."
