Some deep pocketed alumni better be coughing up some "research" money. 28.6M for the Gus buy-out because they fired all the assistants as well. They won't be able to print a stack that big for Harsin unless they can include it posthumously in Biden's inflation reduction act. Maybe if the research labs at Auburn can create a highly concentrated version of Prevagin, maybe Nancy will move the vodka bottle off the checkbook & send them a Christmas gift. markymark 8 Posted November 3, 2022 Now whether this is true or not, I cannot confirm...but I heard it on a nationally syndicated talk show this morning. Apparently Kiffin is eye-balling the Bama job when Saban retires. Apparently there have been some whisper kisses going back-and-forth. They said the standing philosophy at Bama is that NO COACH that has ever coached at Auburn will be considered for Saban's job: The AD at Bama might be exerting some influence on Kiffin to look the other way. Hugh Sleaze is back in the picture, but the SEC doesn't want that to happen. Rhule or Campbell will work, but if Neon-D was serious about coaching, stranger things have happened.
