VOLTALK Update - Pick Ems have been added for the season

UPDATE: I have added the College Football Season Pick em Contest for 2022. I also went ahead and added an NFL Pick Em Contest as well. I have not decided on prizes on anything yet. I will try to come up with something. Ideas are welcome. You can Private Message me if you have some thoughts. Also on the note of prizes, while I would like to get as many people to participate as possible, I will not allow prizes for people who do not contribute to the site. A lot of people have played but never post anything. We need content and we hope the contests promote content for the site. If you obviously are contributing then there is no need to just play. Unless you like just playing the contest. If you choose you can it is free to play. Just be aware any prizes will go to folks who contribute.

 

The contests work the same as last year. This is a straight up pick em. Whoever makes the most correct picks over the season wins. You can view who picked what after the winners of the games are added. You can also check the leader board. Remember that you can make picks or even change you picks right up until the day and time of the kickoff. All is based on EST time zone. There is a tiebreaker question. This is in case there is a tie at the end. The answer for the tiebreaker doesn't need to be added up until the day before the last game. (National Title. Super Bowl). FYI - You have to go to each contest for both NFL and College and hit the join button before you can make picks. Week 1 is a little confusing for College. The reason is the games start for week 1 during August and run into September. Make sure you check the dates. I noticed a few joined the pool before I was finished. You will need to go back to join the pool again.

Not sure how old good Joe's picks are going to be with his advanced dementia but he is welcome to join as well.  Once he is done with that push up contest.  Maybe he can just pick by mascot. Smokey is ready/

Gonna try and follow a bit of NFL this year if I can stay awake long enough. Might drive down to Nu'Awlens and watch the Saint's play. Wife says maybe, so that means probably.
