The 2023 Georgia defensive lineman committed to Rocky Top Friday afternoon over the Kentucky Wildcats, Mississippi State Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks. A three-star across all services except ESPN, where he is not rated, Weathersby stands between 6’3″ and 6’4″ and weighs around 250 pounds. Coming out of Douglasville, Ga., he attends Douglas County’s New Manchester High School. While he is specifically listed as a defensive lineman on 247Sports and On3, Weathersby is listed as a defensive end on ESPN and a strongside defensive end on Rivals. Still, he’ll play up on the line. He announced his commitment to Tennessee football Friday evening on Twitter.
