Tennessee on Wednesday announced its Homecoming game along with designations for several other home games during its 2022 football season. UT Martin will be the Homecoming opponent for the Vols on Oct. 22, when the Football Championship Subdivision Skyhawks are the visitors at Neyland Stadium. The game against the alma mater of the legendary Pat Summittalso fittingly will feature a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX.

The home finale against Missouri on Nov. 12 will feature both Tennessee's Senior Day as well as its Salute to Service game, which honors the nation's service members, veterans and their families. (The Vols close the regular season with road games at South Carolina and Vanderbilt.)

Tennessee opens the 2022 season on a Thursday night (Sept. 1) against Ball State in a game with a 7 p.m. kickoff that will be televised on the SEC Network.
