Las Vegas RB commits to Vols

Will Stallings is planning to make the cross-country trip from Las Vegas to Knoxville, Tenn., on Tuesday to take a closer look at Tennessee after getting a scholarship offer from the Vols less than two weeks ago. But he didn’t feel the need to wait until then to make his college decision


The Class of 2023 running back/athlete from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas announced Sunday afternoon that he has committed to Tennessee. He chose the Vols over scholarship offers from more than a dozen other schools, including Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Pittsburgh, after attending Tennessee’s first camp of the year on June 1 and landing an offer from the Vols just five days later.

A two-way athlete who’s being recruited by Tennessee to play running back, the 6-foot, 222-pound Stallings gave the Vols their 10th commitment for the 2023 class and their first from a projected running back.
