Ethan Wolf Signs with Carolina

Recommended Posts

@LakeVol Your boy signing now with the Panthers

Former Tennessee Vols football tight end Ethan Wolf signed a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers on Monday after spending the weekend at the team’s rookie minicamp. Wolf was a four-year starter in Butch Jones’s system from 2014 to 2017 and then was first with the Tennessee Titans last year before being cut and signing with the Green Bay Packers practice squad.

Wolf gives the Panthers a third former Tennessee player. Michael Palardy has been the team’s starting punter since late in the 2016 season and signed a three-year extension worth $7.52 million with the team last year. Carolina drafted Vols defensive back Rashaan Gaulden in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and he made 17 tackles in 15 games as a special-teams player and defensive reserve during his rookie season.

I always thought he was like Alvin Kamara. He was never utilized as much as he should have been, Just another Butch Jones mess up. I hope he gets some playing time.
