++RobVOL 0 Posted September 26, 2016 OK we all are still enjoying the Florida win but the players cannot get complacent. Fans cannot either. Upcoming now is a trap game. UGA got drilled this past weekend by Ole Miss. Will we see a wounded pup or an angry dog? Time to discuss what we as fans should expect this next weekend. I truly hope Jones gets the players back engaged and not looking past Georgia. Lets discuss
+Atomic City 86 Posted September 26, 2016 I think if we can jump on them early they will fold like a cheap chair
Piddlin 242 Posted September 26, 2016 I think we will see a wounded dog trying to be angry...........but it won't last. At the same time, we have to play 4 solid quarters and Debord does not need to take his foot off the gas! We need to get healthy on D!
ARFGVol 6 Posted September 26, 2016 Chubb suffered a ankle sprain and I have not heard any definitive. That will make a big difference. Still the Vols need to come out focused. Yeah we loved the win but we need to see NO LETDOWN this weekend. There could be a first half hangover. But as we saw this past weekend this team thrives in the second half so who knows if that is a bad thing. Still the Vols need to stay focused.
Piddlin 242 Posted September 26, 2016 I expect to see us be highly favored in this game, but I fear it will be over inflated a bit.
GiveHim6 102 Posted September 26, 2016 The dawgs have issues almost everywhere. I would say how healthy Chubb is could be a factor but their OL hasn't helped the run or passing game. Put pressure on Eason (3 sacks vs. Ole Miss) and see how he responds. Their defense was shredded again, couldn't stop Mizzou or Ole Miss, and their corners were benched during the game Saturday. Please receivers, work on hanging on to Dobbs' passes cause the dawg secondary is awful! Interesting stat I just learned: Since 2010 Georgia has been an underdog 10 times. Their record in those games? 1-9.

++RobVOL 0 Posted September 26, 2016 Good points GH6. I was looking back to the last time Tennessee went 4-0. It was I think like 2003. Tennessee was coming off big wins and then laid an egg against Auburn and Georgia. I am really looking forward to the first half to see how they come out. First step is learning to win after losing and coming back and fighting all the way through the game. Second is once you start turning the corner then learning to win and expecting it after you come off a big win and not allowing a letdown. Seeing how Jones has this team playing I think he wont allow a let down. Still it might be close than some think. If Chubb is not playing this could be interesting. Skyking 44 Posted September 26, 2016 Georgia got flat out embarrassed by Ole Miss. They're at home and they're gonna come out swinging for the fences. On the other hand, the Vols found the swagger they were looking for. And it seemed they inadvertantly learned a big lesson from the Gators regarding humility. Vols finally come out firing on all cylinders for this one. Vols 45, Dawgs 17.
GiveHim6 102 Posted September 26, 2016 ATHENS — It looks like Georgia star tailback Nick Chubb will be able to play against Tennessee on Saturday. It’s just not certain yet. Chubb sprained his ankle in Saturday’s loss at Ole Miss. He was hurt during the second quarter, then put his helmet back on, but ended up being held out for the second half, with Ole Miss cruising to a 45-14 win. “He’s gonna continue to rehab really hard,†head coach Kirby Smart said Monday. “We’re obviously hopeful he’ll be able to do something. But we won’t know more until later in the week.†One of Chubb’s teammates, senior center Brandon Kublanow, was more bullish.“I’m pretty sure Nick’s going to want to play this game, after what happened last year,†Kublanow said, alluding to Chubb’s knee injury at Tennessee. “This is what he’s been working for, so I expect a lot out of Nick, and I expect he expects a lot out of himself.†After rushing for 222 yards in Georgia’s season opener, Chubb has been held to 80 by Nicholls State, 63 at Missouri and 57 at Ole Miss. TecVol 53 Posted September 26, 2016 Lets not forget the Shy Tuttle cheap shot that cost him his season.....I am thinking the defense remembers it

UltimateVolfan 45 Posted September 26, 2016 If they try chop back block again at the knees someone is gonna get an ass whooping
++RobVOL 0 Posted September 27, 2016 Chubb will play more than likely but not sure he will be 100%. Holyfield's boy had some runs last week in that blow out. I bet sees more time. I think he Tennessee stops the gaps and plays solid D and can get a lead on this team and then know that Eason has to beat them and bring the pressure they should be able to win this without any issue. Just stay the course and not lose focus after the emotional game against Florida and them should be OK. I am guessing a 31-21 win for the Vols at this point. Maybe 31-
+okfloray 193 Posted September 27, 2016 Nope, I think Georgia is just bad. Ol'Miss did embarrass them, but the Nicholls St game wasn't a fluke. Nobody can afford to take the Dawgs lightly, I don't see that happening. UT wins going away. Vols 34-UGA-14.
UTVol2001 34 Posted September 27, 2016 I guess I just have to go by what they say about messing with a wounded dog and in their place. I am thinking the Vols win this one but I dont see a blow out game like what Ole Miss did to them. Vols - 24 UGA -
SavageOrangeJug 170 Posted September 28, 2016 Yeah, they remember. I am going to be pissed if that guy walks off the field under his own power. UGA even put his picture on the UT/UGA ticket as a troll. I guess they thought it was funny. Normally I always hope for a safe game. This time I am making an exception. Break Kublanow's legs at the knees. Kublanow is only the second player I have ever said that about. Cornelius Bennett was the other one (if you have to ask you ain't old enough to remember it). Piddlin 242 Posted September 28, 2016 Georgia has rearranged its secondary for this week. No Briscoe. Chubb did NOT practice Monday or Tuesday. We can expect several gadget plays on Saturday.

grevehallvol 12 Posted September 28, 2016 If Mark Richt was still there I guarantee you that scumbags photo would not be on the UT-Georgia game ticket. They lost a lot of class when they lost Richt. :4 2 5 2:

LAVol 4 Posted September 28, 2016 Chubb did not even make 100 yards against FCS Nichols. Even if he is at 100%, I do not see him being a factor. As bad as our OL has been at times this year, theirs has been much worse. As long as we "execute" we will win handily. Vols 42 dogs
