Tennessee adds RB to 2016 class

Recommended Posts

Three-star running back Jeremy Lewis of Lone Grove (Okla.) High School has enrolled at Tennessee for the second session of summer classes, sources told GoVols247 on Monday, joining the Vols as a late addition to their 2016 recruiting class and a replacement for injured running back Joe Young.

The 6-foot-1, 193-pound Lewis signed with Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas, earlier this year after decommitting from Arkansas State in January. He also received scholarship offers from Nebraska, Ohio and Tulsa.

A source close to the situation said Lewis, barring an unexpected academic snag, is expected to be officially added to Tennessee's roster in time for the start of preseason camp on Aug. 1.
