Jason Croom named MVP of the Tropical Bowl

Before his Sunday scoring spree, Croom’s last touchdown catch in a game came at UT during his redshirt sophomore season in 2014. The 6-foot-5, 246-pound Georgia native was sidelined last season with a knee injury. He converted from wide receiver to tight end last spring and didn’t record a touchdown this season despite catching 21 passes for 242 yards.
Croom’s first touchdown reception for the National Team was a Hail Mary catch from quarterback Trenton Norvell to end the first half. His second touchdown came in the second half on a pass in the flat he took 15 yards to the end zone.

Yeah makes you wonder why he didn't get this much time when with the Vols.. I know sometimes he was drop happy but he seems to be able to perform obviously. He reminds me of David Martin. Guy never really did anything with the Vols but went on to Green Bay for a few years.
