Trey Smith to miss most of Spring Practice

Well this is not good but it looks like Trey Smith could miss most of the Spring Practice. OUCH!

Tennessee offensive lineman Trey Smith will miss at least part of spring practice while he deals with a medical issue, according to a report Saturday night from GoVols247, which cited a source.
The report stated that Smith is continuing to seek evaluation and that there's no timetable on when he'll be cleared to return.

Smith is one of two returning starters on the offensive line and one of the team's best players. He earned second-team All-SEC honors and was a Freshman All-American in 2017, when he was a bright spot amid the Vols' 4-8 season.
Smith was the only UT offensive lineman to start all 12 games, appearing in nine games at guard and three at left tackle, becoming the first Tennessee true freshman in more than 30 years to start at left tackle.

Awwwwwww CRAP! This guy was a great backbone to build on for what Tennessee needs to do to get back to old Style Tennessee football. This guy being out is frigging HUGE!

He can be out for as long as he wants as long as he's ready come August.

Agreed, no need to rush. I don't think missing spring camp is that big of a deal for a returning starter. As long as he's game shape and ready to go in the fall Trey's gonna be fine.
