IMO, nobody loves UT like Fulmer does.  That's what we need back!  Tennessee Folk!

This is not about Fulmer. I can't say this enough. This is about changing the players involved and direction of UT sports. Why does everyone keep getting worked up? We hinted this was coming. Now that it's happening we're criticising in the way it's happening. Good God people.

I have been told by a prominent UT booster that Fulmer along with many donors planned today's events & is not at a bad look towards Fulmer. Haslam had Fulmer fired in 2008. Haslam & Currie planned alone in attempt to hire Schiano & never talked to Gruden or any other candidates.

This better work out.

Fulmer put us in this ditch to begin with. Now he's going to drive us out?

Fulmer drove the bus into the ditch. Kiffin flattened the tires. Dooley threw matches into the gas tank.

Butch tried to pull the whole flaming mess out with his mini bike.

We are a bunch of f**ked monkeys.   :shakehead:

I told you that Sunday night.

Schiano was the ONLY coach that was offered.

Fulmer as AD would be best thing that happened to this University since he got canned

Nothing like waking up to good news.

No two ways about it, this is a win for the good guys. Currie was Bev's hire, so she got a little doo-doo on her as well. So it's a good start, but not the time to let up. The fox is still in our henhouse, and he's after our rooster...

Nope unless he proxies into here and don't think he's smart enough to do that

All he has to do is change his IP. I can do that in 1 minute or less.

Ok if you think I can't track you roll the dice buddy

We track a bit more than IPs    :Tennrules:

I'll say this much right here. I've always agreed that Fulmer fell off his horse sometime after the '98 NC. But the funk we presently find ourselves in resulted from the departure of Joe Johnson and Doug Dickey. That, and the subsequent hiring of Jimmy Cheeks and Mike Hamilton pretty much hung Phil out to dry.I know what it's like to be set up to fail.

Phil as AD has a tough job to do right now, trying to pick up these pieces. I don't envy him a bit. Cutting Currie out was only one piece, I suspect there's plenty more established opposition . Long term, whether or not he's the best man for the job isn't a decision I feel good about making right now. However I have never doubted Fulmer's loyalty to Tennessee, and I trust he'll be looking out for our best intrest. So, right now, there's nobody I'd rather have involved.

Well, you can track machines.

For the most part, I agree with all of the above, but I would add that all of that was ALLOWED to happen by the higher ups!  Hopefully that is about to change.
