Just wondered what everyone though about the Orange and White game. I am totally not sold on Special Teams and not sure I like the 3-4 Defense arrangement. The running game looked OK but it was running against this new 3-4 defense and all the changes made there and not sure what was the issue a better running game or worse defense against the run?
I was happy to see Rogers and this new kid Carter out there at WR make some plays. I also was glad to see Bray make some nice throws. I wish we all could have seen Peterman but I guess we will have to wait on that,
So thoughts?

O&W Post Game thoughts? How do you feel now?

Does not reflect anything, bunch of big guys playing a pickup game for munchies.
I feel fantastic after watching Worley and Bray, knowing Peterman is in the wings and another top QB in this class. Huge improvement over where we were 4 years ago.
DaPrick looked like a man playing with boys. If he keeps his head on straight he will be a millionaire very soon (50/50 IMO). We will have 5 huge receivers with Hunter, Rogers, Croom, Patterson and Rivera. I would hate to be the secondary assigned to stop that group!
I am impressed with the amount of bodies and choices they have on the offensive line. Best group of talent ever on the field at one time on the oline for the Vols. 10 guys can see action here and not much drop off.
This offense is going to score a lot of points.
Defensively harder to judge, basically this was a good 3 weeks of practice on learning a new defense with a bunch of new coaches. How can you make any judgements?
Looks like the DT spot has much more depth than last season.
This is a very physical group of linebackers and the starters have a lot of natural talent.
The secondary is as solid as i have seen it in a while. Teague hurt us last season but several guys have stepped up to give us some depth at all positions.
Special teams is again the only obvious weak link and specifically both kickers. The majority of Division II teams have a punter who can average 40 yards and a FG kicker who hits 80% from the 20 yard line in. I expect these numbers minimum from our kickers, minimum. If the kickers Dooley retains cannot meet these minimum requirements then we need to change the coach. I will have no sympathy once the season starts, none. I don't even want to talk about it now.
I expect to be competitive in every game we play, win 9 or 10 games and make a BCS bowl. I would accept being competitive and winning 7 if we just had some bad luck or bad calls. I will not accept being blown out by anyone or losing games in the last minute because of chaos on the sidelines. My patience for those things is gone with this staff. Vandy must be blown out by 30 points or more and UK is a must win game and I really expect to see payback delivered at home. Pour it on them and don't stop!

I am not sure it really means anything but I would say I am really concerned with Special Teams. Why is it so hard to get this corrected? The Vols recruit big named high ranking recruits for this and cant even keep the FG kicker from kicking the ball low every time?
I did like watching that Carter kid. I see some potential there and Bray did look better than last years O&W game. I still think the running game is weak running in the middle. Outside running is fine but in the SEC you have to be able to run between the tackles.

Looked to me like they were really trying to get Vincent Dallas into the game. O-Line blocking looks improved. 3-4 still has kinks but no more than I expected.
Quickest 4 Qtrs I've ever seen, good crowd, glad it didn't rain. Really nice day tho, worst part was walking back uphill on Gameday way. "Whew"...

Confidence is the feeling you get before you understand the situation.

That walk up "The Hill" especially after tailgating a lot before the game can be brutal
